Texas High School Basketball - Lueders-Avoca ripped by Knox City

The Knox City Greyhounds basketball team scored 72 points and held the host Lueders-Avoca Raiders to 47 in the Greyhounds league triumph on Tuesday.
The Greyhounds now sport a 21-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rotan for a 1A Region II District 15 contest on Friday, January 26. Knox City will meet a Yellowhammers team coming off a 49-30 league win over Rule (Rule, TX). The Yellowhammers record now stands at 12-15.
The Raiders (0-8) will now prepare for their contest against Aspermont (Aspermont, TX). The Hornets enter the 1A Region II District 15 contest with a 15-9 record. In their last contest, Aspermont triumphed over Paint Creek (Haskell, TX), 68-20, in a league contest.
