The St. Thomas More Cougars (Lafayette, LA) basketball nipped the visiting Lafayette Christian Academy Knights (Lafayette, LA), 46-43 in Tuesday's league test.
The Cougars (20-5) will now prepare for their test against Teurlings Catholic (Lafayette, LA). The Rebels go into the 4A District 4 test with a 11-13 record. In their last test, Teurlings Catholic got by Family Christian (Baton Rouge, LA), 70-34, in a non-league test.
The Knights now own a 19-4 record. They play next when they host North Vermilion for a 4A District 4 test on Friday, January 26.
