With the victory, Southern Lee upgrades its record to 16-1 on the campaign. The Cavaliers host Richmond (Rockingham, NC) to play the Raiders in a 3A/4A Sandhills challenge on Friday, January 26. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 13-5. Richmond won 84-51 in their recent league challenge against Scotland (Laurinburg, NC)

Next up, the Yellow Jackets play the Union Pines Vikings (Cameron, NC) in a 3A/4A Sandhills challenge, on Friday, January 26. Lee County will attempt to upgrade on its 5-11 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 9-8 record after their 61-51 league loss to Pinecrest (Southern Pines, NC).
