With the victory, Lexington improves its record to 11-13 on the campaign. The Eagles host Troy (Troy, TX) to confront the Trojans in a 3A Region III District 19 challenge on Friday, January 26. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 15-11. Troy won 53-50 in their recent league challenge against Little River Academy (Little River Academy, TX)

Next up, the Tigers confront the McGregor Bulldogs (McGregor, TX) in a 3A Region III District 19 challenge, on Friday, January 26. Rockdale will attempt to improve on its 5-22 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 16-9 record after their 51-39 league loss to Lorena (Lorena, TX).
