The Troy Trojans basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the visiting Little River Academy Bumblebees to 50 in the Trojans league victory on Tuesday.

The Trojans now sport a 15-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lexington for a 3A Region III District 19 contest on Friday, January 26. Troy will battle a Eagles team coming off a 45-40 league win over Rockdale (Rockdale, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 11-13.

The Bumblebees (9-14) will now prepare for their contest against Rogers (Rogers, TX). The Eagles come into the 3A Region III District 19 contest with a 6-14 record. In their last contest, Rogers was nudged by Lorena (Lorena, TX), 58-39, in a league contest.
