Middletown Mustangs (Middletown, CA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Lower Lake Trojans (Lower Lake, CA), 60-42 in a league bout.

With the victory, Middletown upgrades its record to 14-8 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Cloverdale (Cloverdale, CA) to play the Eagles in a North Central I bout on Friday, January 26. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 12-11. Cloverdale lost 81-65 in their recent league bout against Kelseyville (Kelseyville, CA)

Next up, the Trojans play the Upper Lake Cougars (Upper Lake, CA) in a North Central I bout, on Friday, January 26. Lower Lake will attempt to upgrade on its 2-18 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 7-12 record after their 41-38 league win over Fort Bragg (Fort Bragg, CA).
