The Marquette Crusaders (Ottawa, IL) basketball felled the host Putnam County Panthers (Granville, IL), 60-44 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Crusaders (13-6) will now prepare for their test against Woodland (Streator, IL). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 14-7 record. In their last test, Woodland thwarted Roanoke-Benson (Roanoke, IL), 51-46, in a non-league test.
The Panthers now own a 4-17 record. They play next when they host Hall for a non-league test on Monday, January 29. Putnam County will encounter a Red Devils squad coming off a 66-63 league win over Princeton (Princeton, IL). The Red Devils record now stands at 10-10.
