The McLoughlin Pioneers (Milton-Freewater, OR) basketball nipped the host Nyssa Bulldogs (Nyssa, OR), 58-52 in Tuesday's league test.
The Pioneers (10-4) will now prepare for their test against Umatilla (Umatilla, OR). The Vikings go into the 3A Eastern Oregon test with a 10-5 record. In their last test, Umatilla got by Nyssa (Nyssa, OR), 68-37, in a league test.
