The Stone Mountain Pirates (Stone Mountain, GA) basketball knocked off the visiting Miller Grove Wolverines (Lithonia, GA), 64-50 in Tuesday's league test.
The Pirates (4-12) will now prepare for their test against Holy Innocents Episcopal (Atlanta, GA). The Golden Bears go into the AAAA Region 6 test with a 13-6 record. In their last test, Holy Innocents Episcopal notched a victory over Stephenson (Stone Mountain, GA), 73-41, in a league test.
The Wolverines now own a 1-16 record. They play next when they host Druid Hills for a AAAA Region 6 test on Friday, January 26. Miller Grove will encounter a Red Devils squad coming off a 57-54 league win over Southwest DeKalb (Decatur, GA). The Red Devils record now stands at 12-7.
