The New Ulm Cathedral Greyhounds basketball team scored 66 points and held the host Minnesota Valley Lutheran Chargers to 53 in the Greyhounds league triumph on Tuesday.
The Greyhounds now sport a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wabasso for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 25. New Ulm Cathedral will battle a Rabbits team coming off a 82-68 league loss to St. Mary's (Sleepy Eye, MN). The Rabbits record now stands at 3-12.
The Chargers (12-3) will now prepare for their contest against Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial (Lake Crystal, MN). The Knights enter the AA Section 2 contest with a 12-3 record. In their last contest, Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial ran past Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Martin Luther/Truman (Granada, MN), 95-47, in a non-league contest.
