The Mount Abram Roadrunners (Strong, ME) basketball nipped the host Monmouth Academy Mustangs (Monmouth, ME), 71-66 in Tuesday's league test.
The Roadrunners (11-0) will now prepare for their test against Winthrop (Winthrop, ME). The Ramblers go into the C South test with a 8-5 record. In their last test, Winthrop got by Traip (Kittery, ME), 55-49, in a league test.
The Mustangs now own a 9-3 record. They play next when they travel to Spruce Mountain for a non-league test on Thursday, January 25. Monmouth Academy will encounter a Phoenix squad coming off a 72-42 non-league win over Madison (Madison, ME). The Phoenix record now stands at 9-3.
