Vermont High School Basketball - Montpelier holds off Spaulding

Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Montpelier Solons (Montpelier, VT) and the host Spaulding Crimson Tide (Barre, VT), saw Montpelier's basketball squad hold off Spaulding by a tally of 67-64.

With the victory, Montpelier improves its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Solons host Thetford Academy (Thetford, VT) to confront the Panthers in a Capital challenge on Friday, January 26. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 11-0.

Next up, the Crimson Tide confront the North Country Union Falcons (Newport, VT) in a Metro challenge, on Friday, January 26. Spaulding will attempt to improve on its 0-12 season record.
