Woodbridge Barrons (Woodbridge, NJ) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting North Plainfield Canucks (North Plainfield, NJ), 75-61 in a league bout.

With the win, Woodbridge upgrades its record to 10-5 on the season. The Barrons travel to South Plainfield (South Plainfield, NJ) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 25. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 12-4. South Plainfield won 83-70 in their recent non-league bout against Sayreville (Parlin, NJ)

Next up, the Canucks play the Warren Hills Regional Blue Streaks (Washington, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 25. North Plainfield will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record. The Blue Streaks go into the bout with a 7-6 record after their 53-48 non-league win over South Hunterdon (Lambertville, NJ).
