The Waynflete Flyers (Portland, ME) basketball felled the host North Yarmouth Academy Panthers (Yarmouth, ME), 50-32 in Tuesday's league test.
The Flyers (10-3) will now prepare for their test against Traip (Kittery, ME). The Rangers go into the C South test with a 3-9 record. In their last test, Traip was beaten by Winthrop (Winthrop, ME), 55-49, in a league test.
The Panthers now own a 4-9 record. They play next when they host St. Dominic for a non-league test on Thursday, January 25. North Yarmouth Academy will encounter a Saints squad coming off a 59-51 non-league win over Dirigo (Dixfield, ME). The Saints record now stands at 11-0.
