Ripley Tigers (Ripley, TN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Peabody Golden Tide (Trenton, TN), 66-35 in a league bout.
With the win, Ripley upgrades its record to 14-6 on the season. The Tigers host Gibson County (Dyer, TN) to play the Pioneers in a 2A District 14 bout on Friday, January 26. The Pioneers go into the bout with a record of 6-8.
Next up, the Golden Tide play the Dyer County Choctaws (Newbern, TN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 26. Peabody will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record.
