Rancho Mirage Rattlers (Rancho Mirage, CA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Xavier Prep Saints (Palm Desert, CA), 84-45 in a league bout.

With the victory, Rancho Mirage upgrades its record to 18-7 on the campaign. The Rattlers host Palm Desert (Palm Desert, CA) to play the Aztecs in a Desert Empire bout on Thursday, January 25. The Aztecs come into the bout with a record of 21-4. Palm Desert won 83-50 in their recent league bout against La Quinta (La Quinta, CA)

Next up, the Saints play the Shadow Hills Knights (Indio, CA) in a Desert Empire bout, on Thursday, January 25. Xavier Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 5-19 season record. The Knights come into the bout with a 8-16 record after their 60-46 league loss to Palm Springs (Palm Springs, CA).
