Oregon High School Basketball - Reedsport can't hold off Waldport

The Waldport Irish basketball team scored 41 points and held the visiting Reedsport to 38 in the Irish league triumph on Tuesday.
The Irish now sport a 8-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oakland for a 2A Valley Coast contest on Thursday, January 25. Waldport will battle a Oakers team coming off a 57-33 league win over Bandon (Bandon, OR). The Oakers record now stands at 18-0.
The (4-12) will now prepare for their contest against Illinois Valley (Cave Junction, OR). The Cougars enter the 2A Valley Coast contest with a 13-5 record. In their last contest, Illinois Valley nudged Gold Beach (Gold Beach, OR), 76-61, in a league contest.
