Virginia High School Basketball - Riverheads topped by Stuarts Draft

The Stuarts Draft Cougars basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the host Riverheads Gladiators to 48 in the Cougars league victory on Tuesday.
The Cougars now sport a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Waynesboro for a Shenandoah contest on Friday, January 26. Stuarts Draft will battle a Little Giants team coming off a 65-23 league loss to Staunton (Staunton, VA). The Little Giants record now stands at 2-13.
The Gladiators (5-13) will now prepare for their contest against Staunton (Staunton, VA). The Storm come into the Shenandoah contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, Staunton prevailed over Waynesboro (Waynesboro, VA), 65-23, in a league contest.
