Trenton Trojans (Trenton, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Roosevelt Bears (Wyandotte, MI), 49-40 in a league bout.

With the win, Trenton upgrades its record to 7-7 on the season. The Trojans host Woodhaven (Brownstown, MI) to clash with the Warriors in a Downriver bout on Thursday, January 25. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 7-5. Woodhaven won 57-44 in their recent league bout against Edsel Ford (Dearborn, MI)

Next up, the Bears clash with the Taylor Griffins (Taylor, MI) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 25. Roosevelt will attempt to upgrade on its 4-10 season record. The Griffins go into the bout with a 6-9 record after their 54-38 league loss to Allen Park (Allen Park, MI).
