West Mesquite Wranglers (Mesquite, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Seagoville Dragons (Dallas, TX), 61-47 in a league bout.
With the win, West Mesquite upgrades its record to 20-6 on the season. The Wranglers travel to Samuell (Dallas, TX) to play the Spartans in a 5A Region II District 12 bout on Friday, January 26. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 17-6. Samuell won 46-37 in their recent league bout against North Mesquite (Mesquite, TX)
Next up, the Dragons play the Adams Cougars (Dallas, TX) in a 5A Region II District 12 bout, on Friday, January 26. Seagoville will attempt to upgrade on its 18-8 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 11-17 record after their 57-54 league loss to Poteet (Mesquite, TX).
