The Tiftarea Academy Panthers tipped the visiting Terrell Academy Eagles basketball team by a final score of 49-48 in Tuesday's league game.
In their next game, the Panthers face the Southland Academy Raiders (Americus, GA) in a GIAA AAAA/AAA District 3 test, on Friday, January 26. Tiftarea Academy will attempt to advance on its 6-9 season record. The Raiders go into the test with a 7-8 record after their 60-37 league loss to Brookwood (Thomasville, GA).
