The Wisdom Pioneers basketball team (St. Agatha, ME), was nudged 57-55 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Washburn Beavers (Washburn, ME)
The Beavers now possess a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Van Buren for a D North battle on Thursday, January 25. Washburn will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 54-25 league win over East Grand (Dansforth, ME). The Crusaders record now stands at 1-13.
The Pioneers (3-8) will now prepare for their battle against Hodgdon (Hodgdon, ME). The Hawks come into the non-league battle with a 14-2 record. In their last battle, Hodgdon edged East Grand (Dansforth, ME), 88-21, in a non-league battle.
