The Golden Valley Grizzlies (Santa Clarita, CA) basketball nipped the visiting Canyon Cowboys (Canyon Country, CA), 52-48 in Tuesday's league test.

The Grizzlies (3-11) will now prepare for their test against Saugus (Saugus, CA). The Centurions go into the test with a 8-2 record. In their last test, Saugus was tipped by Valencia (Valencia, CA), 66-56, in a league test.

The Cowboys now own a 0-10 record. They play next when they travel to Valencia for a test on Friday, January 26. Canyon will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 69-44 league win over West Ranch (Valencia, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 19-10.
