Orland Trojans (Orland, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Corning Cardinals (Corning, CA), 46-41 in a league bout.

With the win, Orland upgrades its record to 4-8 on the season. The Trojans travel to Shasta (Redding, CA) to clash with the Wolves in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 24. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 0-13. Shasta lost 74-48 in their recent league bout against Enterprise (Redding, CA)

Next up, the Cardinals clash with the Gridley Bulldogs (Gridley, CA) in a bout, on Friday, January 26. Corning will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 8-4 record after their 54-52 league win over Las Plumas (Oroville, CA).
