In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Farmington Scorpions (Farmington, NM) basketball squad felled the visiting Sandia Matadors (Albuquerque, NM), by a margin of 67-56.
The Scorpions (11-1) will now prepare for their outing against West Mesa (Albuquerque, NM). The Mustangs go into the non-league outing with a 8-3 record. In their last outing, West Mesa was beaten by La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM), 56-45, in a non-league outing.
The Matadors now own a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to Eldorado for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 27. Sandia will clash with a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 57-49 non-league win over Piedra Vista (Farmington, NM). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 5-5.
