Lone Star Rangers (Frisco, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Wakeland Wolverines (Frisco, TX), 49-40 in a league bout.

With the victory, Lone Star upgrades its record to 12-6 on the campaign. The Rangers host Reedy (Frisco, TX) to play the Lions in a bout on Friday, January 26. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 1-0. Reedy won 69-42 in their recent league bout against Lone Star (Frisco, TX)

Next up, the Wolverines play the Creekview Mustangs (Carrollton, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Wakeland will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
