The Alleluia Community (Augusta, GA) basketball knocked off the host John Hancock Academy Rebels (Sparta, GA), 52-40 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The (15-5) will now prepare for their test against Heritage Christian Academy (Brunswick, GA). The Eagles go into the GAPPS - I-AA Region 4A test with a 2-10 record. In their last test, Heritage Christian Academy went down by Coastal HomeSchool (Pembroke, GA), 50-30, in a non-league test.
The Rebels now own a 2-11 record. They play next when they host Thomas Jefferson Academy for a GIAA A Region 4 test on Friday, January 26. John Hancock Academy will encounter a Jaguars squad coming off a 38-26 non-league loss to Robert Toombs Christian Academy (Lyons, GA). The Jaguars record now stands at 8-8.
