Kentucky High School Basketball - Allen County-Scottsville overwhelmed by Franklin-Simpson

The Franklin-Simpson Wildcats basketball team scored 66 points and restricted the host Allen County-Scottsville Patriots to 40 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now sport a 18-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Todd County Central for a District 13 contest on Friday, January 26. Franklin-Simpson will battle a Rebels team coming off a 69-68 non-league loss to Jo Byrns (Cedar Hill, TN). The Rebels record now stands at 12-7.

The Patriots (8-8) will now prepare for their contest against Warren East (Bowling Green, KY). The Raiders come into the District 15 contest with a 15-2 record. In their last contest, Warren East triumphed over Ohio County (Hartford, KY), 76-43, in a non-league contest.
