Oklahoma High School Basketball - Altus tipped by Elgin

The Elgin Owls basketball team scored 48 points and held the visiting Altus Bulldogs to 47 in the Owls league triumph on Tuesday.
The Owls now sport a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shawnee for a 5A District 1 contest on Friday, January 26. Elgin will meet a Wolves team coming off a 27-25 league win over Guthrie (Guthrie, OK). The Wolves record now stands at 11-5.
The Bulldogs (5-10) will now prepare for their contest against El Reno (El Reno, OK). The Indians enter the 5A District 1 contest with a 16-0 record. In their last contest, El Reno nudged Carl Albert (Midwest City, OK), 53-43, in a league contest.
