The Mendocino Cardinals basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Anderson Valley Panthers to 44 in the Cardinals league triumph on Tuesday.
The Cardinals now sport a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Point Arena for a North Central III contest on Saturday, January 27. Mendocino will battle a Pirates team coming off a 56-14 league win over Laytonville (Laytonville, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 6-6.
The Panthers (4-10) will now prepare for their contest against Potter Valley (Potter Valley, CA). The Bearcats enter the North Central III contest with a 0-11 record. In their last contest, Potter Valley was defeated by Round Valley (Covelo, CA), 64-15, in a league contest.
