With the victory, Aransas Pass upgrades its record to 8-9 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to George West (George West, TX) to play the Longhorns in a 3A Region IV District 29 bout on Friday, January 26. The Longhorns come into the bout with a record of 19-10. George West won 35-26 in their recent league bout against Goliad (Goliad, TX)

Next up, the Owls play the Mathis Pirates (Mathis, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 29 bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Odem will attempt to upgrade on its 2-28 season record. The Pirates come into the bout with a 2-23 record after their 65-32 league loss to Goliad (Goliad, TX).
