The Mayflower Eagles (Mayflower, AR) basketball crushed the host Atkins Red Devils (Atkins, AR), 71-50 in Tuesday's league test.
The Eagles (15-4) will now prepare for their test against Maumelle Charter (Maumelle, AR). The Falcons go into the 3A Region 5 test with a 17-11 record. In their last test, Maumelle Charter walloped Central Arkansas Christian (North Little Rock, AR), 55-43, in a league test.
The Red Devils now own a 6-12 record. They play next when they host Perryville for a 3A Region 5 outing on Friday, January 26. Atkins will clash with a Mustangs squad coming off a 71-61 league loss to Baptist Prep (Little Rock, AR). The Mustangs record now stands at 18-6.
