The Frankel Jewish Academy of Metro Detroit Jaguars basketball team scored 46 points and restricted the visiting Austin Catholic Crusaders to 29 in the Jaguars non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Jaguars now sport a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Academy of the Sacred Heart for a Catholic C-D D contest on Thursday, January 25. Frankel Jewish Academy of Metro Detroit will battle a Gazelles team coming off a 39-30 league win over Cardinal Mooney Catholic (Marine City, MI). The Gazelles record now stands at 3-6.

The Crusaders (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Detroit Cristo Rey (Detroit, MI). The WOLVES come into the non-league contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, Detroit Cristo Rey lost by Our Lady of the Lakes (Waterford, MI), 55-17, in a non-league match.
