South Carolina High School Basketball - Barnwell overwhelmed by Hampton County

The Hampton County Hurricanes basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the host Barnwell Warhorses to 23 in the Hurricanes league victory on Tuesday.
The Hurricanes now sport a 11-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ridgeland-Hardeeville for a AA Region 6 contest on Wednesday, January 24. Hampton County will battle a Jaguars team coming off a 55-47 league loss to Woodland (Dorchester, SC). The Jaguars record now stands at 6-7.
The Warhorses (1-12) will now prepare for their contest against Edisto (Cordova, SC). The Cougars come into the AA Region 6 contest with a 6-9 record. In their last contest, Edisto triumphed over Woodland (Dorchester, SC), 36-34, in a league contest.
