The Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa Jaguars basketball team scored 48 points and held the visiting Paynesville Bulldogs to 45 in the Jaguars non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Jaguars now sport a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sauk Centre for a non-league contest on Friday, January 26. Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa will meet a Mainstreeters team coming off a 47-39 non-league win over B O L D (Olivia, MN). The Mainstreeters record now stands at 13-3.
The Bulldogs (8-10) will now prepare for their contest against West Central Area (Barrett, MN). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 12-5 record. In their last contest, West Central Area nudged Staples-Motley (Staples, MN), 70-34, in a non-league contest.
