Bergman Panthers (Bergman, AR) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Elkins Elks (Elkins, AR), 66-47 in a league bout.

With the victory, Bergman upgrades its record to 29-2 on the campaign. The Panthers host Lincoln (Lincoln, AR) to play the Wolves in a 3A Region 1 bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Wolves come into the bout with a record of 11-8.

Next up, the Elks play the Flippin Bobcats (Flippin, AR) in a 3A Region 1 challenge, on Friday, January 26. Elkins will attempt to improve on its 11-7 season record.
