Texas High School Basketball - Big Sandy crushes Ore City

Big Sandy Wildcats (Big Sandy, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Ore City Rebels (Ore City, TX), 39-16 in a league bout.

With the victory, Big Sandy upgrades its record to 6-24 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Union Grove (Gladewater, TX) to play the Lions in a 2A Region III District 21 bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 22-5. Union Grove won 44-13 in their recent league bout against Ore City (Ore City, TX)

Next up, the Rebels play the Union Grove Lions (Gladewater, TX) in a 2A Region III District 21 bout, on Friday, January 26. Ore City will attempt to upgrade on its 0-18 season record. The Lions come into the bout with a 21-5 record after their 45-42 league loss to Hawkins (Hawkins, TX).
