Block Bears (Jonesville, LA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Sicily Island Tigers (Sicily Island, LA), 2-0 in a league bout.

With the win, Block upgrades its record to 3-13 on the season. The Bears travel to Delhi (Delhi, LA) to play the Bears in a 1A District 4 bout on Friday, January 26. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 8-13.

Next up, the Tigers play the LaSalle Tigers (Olla, LA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 25. Sicily Island will attempt to upgrade on its 0-10 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 20-1 record after their 46-44 league loss to Northwood (Lena, LA).
