With the victory, Bloomburg upgrades its record to 18-7 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Saltillo (Saltillo, TX) to play the Lions in a 1A Region III District 24 bout on Friday, January 26. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 22-7. Saltillo won 55-42 in their recent league bout against Sulphur Bluff (Sulphur Bluff, TX)

Next up, the Bears play the Yantis Owls (Yantis, TX) in a 1A Region III District 24 bout, on Friday, January 26. Sulphur Bluff will attempt to upgrade on its 10-17 season record. The Owls come into the bout with a 0-17 record after their 46-38 league loss to Union Hill (Gilmer, TX).
