The McDonell Central Macks basketball team scored 62 points and held the host Bloomer Blackhawks to 35 in the Macks league triumph on Tuesday.

The Macks now sport a 17-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cadott for a Cloverbelt - West contest on Friday, January 26. McDonell Central will battle a Hornets team coming off a 56-41 league win over Stanley-Boyd (Stanley, WI). The Hornets record now stands at 11-8.

The Blackhawks (8-10) will now prepare for their contest against Osseo-Fairchild (Osseo, WI). The Thunder enter the Cloverbelt - West contest with a 8-11 record. In their last contest, Osseo-Fairchild was routed by Tomah (Tomah, WI), 58-42, in a non-league contest.
