The Cape Fear Academy Hurricanes (Wilmington, NC) basketball crushed the host Coastal Christian Centurions (Wilmington, NC), 53-21 in Tuesday's league test.
The Hurricanes (8-5) will now prepare for their test against Arendell Parrott Academy (Kinston, NC). The Patriots go into the NCISAA Coastal Plain test with a 3-13 record.
The Centurions now own a 4-12 record. They play next when they travel to John Paul II Catholic for a NCISAA Coastal Plain test on Friday, January 26. Coastal Christian will encounter a Saints squad coming off a 54-17 league win over Arendell Parrott Academy (Kinston, NC). The Saints record now stands at 17-3.
