North Carolina High School Basketball - Piedmont Community Charter routs Carolina International

In Tuesday's league outing, the Piedmont Community Charter Patriots (Gastonia, NC) basketball team triumphed over the visiting Carolina International Comets (Concord, NC), by a score of 68-22.

In their next game, the Patriots meet the Sugar Creek Wildcats (Charlotte, NC) in a 1A Metro 8 match, on Friday, January 26. Piedmont Community Charter will attempt to better on its 7-7 season record. The Wildcats enter the match with a 2-12 record after their 55-16 non-league loss to Highland Tech (Gastonia, NC).

With the defeat, Carolina International moves to 1-9 on the year. The Comets host Apprentice Academy (Monroe, NC) to meet the Red Wolves in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 30. The Red Wolves enter the match with a record of 0-0.
