With the win, Leon upgrades its record to 23-4 on the season. The Cougars host Latexo (Latexo, TX) to clash with the Tigers in a 2A Region III District 20 bout on Friday, January 26. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 2-14. Latexo lost 82-26 in their recent league bout against Lovelady (Lovelady, TX)

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Grapeland Sandies (Grapeland, TX) in a 2A Region III District 20 bout, on Friday, January 26. Centerville will attempt to upgrade on its 13-18 season record. The Sandies go into the bout with a 11-11 record after their 46-42 league win over Groveton (Groveton, TX).
