North Linn Lynx (Troy Mills, IA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Central City Wildcats (Central City, IA), 60-25 in a league bout.

With the victory, North Linn upgrades its record to 15-1 on the campaign. The Lynx host Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, IA) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 25. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 15-1. Mt. Vernon won 63-35 in their recent non-league bout against Center Point-Urbana (Center Point, IA)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Alburnett Pirates (Alburnett, IA) in a Tri-Rivers - West bout, on Friday, January 26. Central City will attempt to upgrade on its 5-11 season record.
