The North Eugene Highlanders basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Churchill Lancers to 20 in the Highlanders league triumph on Tuesday.
The Highlanders now sport a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Thurston for a 5A Midwestern contest on Wednesday, January 24. North Eugene will battle a Colts team coming off a 84-16 league loss to Springfield (Springfield, OR). The Colts record now stands at 4-11.
The Lancers (3-11) will now prepare for their contest against Springfield (Springfield, OR). The Millers enter the 5A Midwestern contest with a 10-6 record. In their last contest, Springfield triumphed over Thurston (Springfield, OR), 84-16, in a league contest.
