In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Clinton Red Devils basketball team scored a decisive 72-21 victory over the Union County Yellowjackets.
The Red Devils now possess a 15-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Woodruff for a AAA Region 4 battle on Tuesday, January 30. Clinton will confront a Wolverines team coming off a 42-37 league win over Emerald (Greenwood, SC). The Wolverines record now stands at 9-11.
The Yellowjackets (2-16) will now prepare for their battle against Chester (Chester, SC). The Cyclones come into the AAA Region 4 battle with a 3-9 record. In their last battle, Chester was overwhelmed by Woodruff (Woodruff, SC), 54-39, in a league battle.
