Georgia High School Basketball - Colquitt County nips Valdosta

January 23, 2024: Norman Park, GA 31771

Colquitt County Packers (Norman Park, GA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Valdosta Wildcats (Valdosta, GA), 59-52 in a league bout.

With the win, Colquitt County upgrades its record to 16-3 on the season. The Packers host Camden County (Kingsland, GA) to play the Wildcats in a AAAAAAA Region 1 bout on Friday, January 26. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 17-4. Camden County lost 52-45 in their recent league bout against Lowndes (Valdosta, GA)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Richmond Hill Wildcats (Richmond Hill, GA) in a AAAAAAA Region 1 bout, on Friday, January 26. Valdosta will attempt to upgrade on its 14-7 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 14-7 record after their 42-26 non-league win over Jenkins (Savannah, GA).
