In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Cornerstone Christian School Cougars (Bellevue, NE) basketball squad felled the host Whiting Warriors (Whiting, IA), by a margin of 46-31.
The Cougars (5-6) will now prepare for their outing against Boys Town (Boys Town, NE). The Cowboys go into the non-league outing with a 4-9 record. In their last outing, Boys Town was beaten by Parkview Christian (Lincoln, NE), 37-25, in a non-league outing.
The Warriors now own a 2-11 record. They play next when they travel to West Harrison for a non-league outing on Thursday, January 25. Whiting will clash with a Hawkeyes squad coming off a 43-38 league win over Paton-Churdan (Churdan, IA). The Hawkeyes record now stands at 5-10.
