The Junction City Tigers (Junction City, OR) basketball knocked off the host Cottage Grove Lions (Cottage Grove, OR), 51-35 in Tuesday's league test.

The Tigers (7-8) will now prepare for their test against Marshfield (Coos Bay, OR). The Pirates go into the 4A Sky Em test with a 7-8 record. In their last test, Marshfield notched a victory over Marist (Eugene, OR), 33-14, in a league test.

The Lions now own a 11-5 record. They play next when they travel to North Bend for a 4A Sky Em contest on Friday, January 26. Cottage Grove will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 56-27 non-league win over Hidden Valley (Grants Pass, OR). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-6.
