Creekside Seminoles (Fairburn, GA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Mays Raiders (Atlanta, GA), 61-59 in a league bout.

With the win, Creekside upgrades its record to 13-4 on the season. The Seminoles travel to Tri-Cities (East Point, GA) to play the Bulldogs in a AAAAA Region 5 bout on Friday, January 26. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 10-7. Tri-Cities won 59-46 in their recent league bout against Lithia Springs (Lithia Springs, GA)

Next up, the Raiders play the Banneker Trojans (College Park, GA) in a AAAAA Region 5 bout, on Friday, January 26. Mays will attempt to upgrade on its 9-7 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 4-16 record after their 63-43 league loss to Jackson (Atlanta, GA).
